Santa Fe is our favorite weekend get-away when we go south from our home here in beautiful Boulder, Colorado. So we decided we had to include some traditional and authentically local New Mexican green chilies to make this Southwestern favorite. You’ll feel like you’re in Santa Fe with us while getting an almost-unbelievable 20 grams of protein per serving. How do you do high protein? We use our all-natural white meat chicken to get there. Those green chilies couldn’t be better when combined with our super sweet corn, all blended with long grain brown rice. No gluten hiding in here though, and like all of our gluten-free meals, it’s tested to 20 ppm so you won’t be left wondering if you’re getting only the good stuff. It’s easy to prepare too, you will want to make it in your dorm room or at your desk. INGREDIENTS
BROWN RICE, BLACK BEANS, MESQUITE CHICKEN (FREEZE-DRIED COOKED WHITE MEAT CHICKEN, MESQUITE SMOKE POWDER (MALTODEXTRIN, NATURAL MESQUITE SMOKE FLAVOR, SILICON DIOXIDE)), DRIED TOMATO, HATCH GREEN CHILI PEPPER, FREEZE-DRIED SUPER SWEET CORN, DRIED GARLIC, SALT, CUMIN SEED, OREGANO.
PREPARATION & STORAGE
Remove and discard enclosed oxygen absorber before beginning food preparation. Add 2-1/4 cups (540 mL) of boiling water to all contents. Stir well. Seal and let sit for 15-20 minutes. Stir and serve. Rehydration time doubles every 5,000 feet of elevation gain. Our directions are set for 5,000 feet. Best By Date on packaging is 10 years from manufacturing date.
