A Look Pivot 15 with the Cast Freetour 2.0 installed. The most refined hybrid touring binding on the market. Includes AFDs compatible with Gripwalk, Alpine 5355 and Touring 9523 norms.

The Freetour is a zero compromise solution to alpine touring bindings. An extremely simple interchange combines the Look Pivot, the most trusted and reliable alpine binding, with the super-light efficiency of our pin-tech touring toe. It is hands down the best hybrid touring binding on the market. The solution for freeride, realized.

Weight (Alpine and Touring) 1340g and 1000g
      Release Range 6-15
      Climbing Risers 0, 8, 12 degrees
Elastic Travel (Toe and Heel) 45mm and 28mm
Boot Compatibility Alpine ISO 5355, GripWalk ISO 23223, Touring 9523
Materials Machined 7075 Alu, POM/Acetal, Stainless Steel

      TECH FREEDOM
Our super light tech toe reduces touring weight to a minimum while maximizing efficiency. Replacing the Freetour Pivot alpine toe with the tech toe reduces the overall weight to just 1000 grams per ski.

      ALPINE PERFORMANCE
The Freetour Kit maintains all of the reliability and performance of the most trusted alpine binding in skiing. Full alpine release and retention characteristics provide unmatched safety and durability.

      LOOK PIVOT SUPERIORITY
It is hard to understate the performance benefits of the Look Pivot binding. With significant elastic travel, the fastest recentering, a short mounting zone, and multidirectional release, the Pivot creates the best ski feel of any binding.

      SINGLE ALPINE/GRIPWALK COMPATIBLE AFD
Our standard AFD is compatible with both Alpine ISO 5355 and GripWalk ISO 23223 norms. We include a separate, interchangeable Touring ISO 9523 AFD for use with fully rockered soles.

      TURNTABLE HEEL
The Pivot's turntable heel allows for rotational release around the tibial axis. This significantly reduces the chance of lower leg injuries, something most tech bindings fail to achieve.

      HEEL ASSEMBLY
The Freetour’s compact heel assembly mounts in two holes positioned in front of the heel piece. It includes a brake lock and two climbing bails at flat, 8 degree, or 12 degree climbing modes.

      SKI CRAMPON COMPATIBLE
The crampon clip is compatible with all Dynafit style ski crampons.

      FAQS

Is the Freetour 2.0 compatible with Freetour 1.0?
No. The toe interchange system is a different platform. The hole pattern and heel assembly are unchanged.

What brake size should I go with?
There are 4 options of brake width to choose from...95mm, 105mm, 115mm, or 130mm. We recommend choosing the brake width that is closest to the width of the middle of your ski. I would go either 5mm small or bigger than your ski width. For example a ski that is 101mm or 109mm wide I would choose the 105mm brake option. A ski that is 110mm or 120mm I would choose the 115mm brake width.

How difficult is mounting the Freetour Pivot? Don't worry about it. Bentgate has you covered.

We have been mounting the CAST system for years and our techs are trained and ready to get you setup to go big.

Warning: All bindings must be properly adjusted to the users boot sole length, height, weight, and release preference. The ski/boot/binding system must then be tested with the user's boots in accordance with industry standards before use, to ensure proper function.

Warning: If you are not a properly trained ski technician with the proper tools and a jig, you must have your bindings mounted by an authorized Look® or Cast® dealer. Bentgate is an authorized Look® and Cast® dealer.

Visit our Ski Shop Services page for pricing or stop into the store to have your CAST system mounted today.

Which boots work with the Freetour?
The Freetour is sold with an Alpine/GripWalk compatible AFD installed and also comes with an interchangeable Touring ISO 9523 AFD to accommodate rockered touring boot soles.

What is the mounting hole pattern of the Freetour?
The Freetour 2.0 uses the same hole pattern as the Look Pivot binding.

What if I already have a Look Pivot Binding mounted on my ski?
If your skis are already mounted with a Look Pivot binding, this is not an issue. Simply upgrade your Look Pivot 15 or 18 binding with the Freetour Upgrade Kit and then use the existing holes. Two additional holes will need to be drilled for the brake retainer. A Bentgate Ski Tech can drill the additional holes for your upgrade.

Can one use the Tech Toe for Downhill?
The Tech toe is not designed for the use in downhill skiing. It can be used for small descents with skins on.
